Description
Large and very detailed piece. Very rare. Around 45.5cm high. 1 meter in circumference. Made for the Japanese pavillion at the World Exhibition. The mark reads "This Satsumayaki (piece) has on it copies of ceramics from all over Japan. In its excellence of technical detail it is an art work truly without peer in our country.
